Planning Resources and Operations Systems, Inc. through its sister company Urban Design Associates, Inc., conducted a land use and environmental quality survey and stalls inventory in support of the Baguio City Market redevelopment.

An image study is made to identify the means by which a place communicates to people. The study showed how pedestrians perceive directions, territories defined including transitional zones, and how these determine the ease and pleasure one experiences while going about the place.

At the intersection of major arteries of the city, a movement systems analysis is made to determine sidewalk capabilities, cross traffic, pedestrian shortcuts, parking requirements and effective locations of bagsakan areas.

The environmental quality survey establishes the physical configurations and conditions of the buildings that provide enclosures, public facilities and open spaces which in turn influence the response of vendors and shoppers to the market environment.

Anthropometric and detailed stall layouts are analyzed for display and stacking, and storing of goods as well as for rental rates.
