The campus is located in a plateau with a sea vista and a mountain backdrop. In the development of the educational program stress is given to departmental interdependence.

This concept is physically translated in the emergent campus core as a composition of administrative functions. The information center is expected to cater to students and farmers alike.

The gathering places for large congregations is recognized as the image-generating area of the campus. The radio-centric design is where disciplinary units are spread radially in terms of discipline, and along concentrics in terms of functions.

Due to the strong geometric influence of the national road, this is utilized as a linear vista in introducing the campus to visitors. As a recall, and to preserve an introspective experience, the national road again swerves back as it leaves the campus. This theme advantageously exposes the research fields without being bisected by the highway.

The college is a pedestrian-oriented campus. Roads are used functionally as vehicular conveyors and not as frontages for buildings. A pedestrian mall is placed along a perpendicular axis to the national road.

The resulting campus plan is derived from four major site options only limited by arable lands, microclimate, panorama, movement systems, steep slopes and ecological considerations.
