Tlogo is a progressive agricultural estate in the highland of Salatiga. The 176-hectare estate performs leading-edge agricultural production in rubber, coffee, cloves and keninger. Its four village clusters are seen as models for agricultural settlements, complete with modern amenities for community living.

In the 1980's the estate lost its luster when agricultural production in Salatiga experienced a downturn. The Semarang Government thought it expedient to privatize the site. Being in the highland elevation of 675 meters, the area has a panoramic view of the lake called Rawa Pening. The area is located northwest of Salatiga proper, along the road to Semarang. Two rivers, the Tuntang River and Suropach River define the estate's borders. A railway station has a stop in the project site.

Considering the advantages that characterize Tlogo, a resort development with a golf course is planned for the area. Greenery will dominate the resort, a hotel, public recreation facilities along the bank of Tuntang River as well as clusters of visitor's cottages are planned for the resort.
